TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BUSINESS. Williams Insurance Services Ltd are Independent Intermediaries who act as your agent and accept responsibility for the advice given and for arranging your insurance. We are Members of the Financial Services Authority (FSA), who regulate sales, advisory and service standards, to make sure that general insurance customers are treated fairly. We represent a number of Insurers and undertake to comply with the Financial Services Authority (FSA) Code of Practice for the selling of general insurance. A copy of the code is available for inspection on request. Approved by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) 2004 reference number 312838 and will be governed by their Code of Practice from 2005. All quotations are given in good faith and are subject to confirmation and acceptance by insurers upon completion of a satisfactory proposal form. It is your responsibility to provide complete and accurate information to insurers when you take out your insurance policy, throughout the life of your policy, and when you renew your insurance. It is important that you ensure that all statements you make on proposal forms, claim forms and other documents are full and accurate. Please note that if you fail to disclose any material information to your insurers, this could invalidate your insurance cover and could mean that part or all of a claim may be not be paid. It is your responsibility to supply the correct NCD Proof (if applicable) for motor insurance and this must be produced within 14 days of cover commencing. Failure to produce this will mean that the policy will be issued at gross premium and an additional premium being charged. Insurers reserve the right to cancel or withdraw cover. It is your responsibility for the completion of any proposal or claim form. We regret we are unable to complete proposal or claim forms for you under any circumstances. We will however be pleased to offer assistance if required. We accept no responsibility for forms incorrectly completed. Your attention is particularly drawn to the importance of the declaration and signature on Insurers proposal forms. This includes questions relating to young drivers, occupations and medical conditions etc. Any failure to disclose facts material to the insurers or any inaccuracies in your answers could invalidate the cover. You should check that the policy is correct and meets your requirements; we are unable to accept any responsibility for incorrect documents. Please ask us if you are in doubt on any aspect of the above. We may keep certain documents such as your insurance policy documents or certificate while we are waiting for full payment of premiums or administration charges. In these circumstances we will ensure that you receive full details of your insurance cover and will provide you with any documents which you are required to have by law. All personal information about you will be treated as private and confidential. We will only use and disclose the information we have about you in the normal course of arranging and administering your insurance, and will not disclose any information to any other parties without your consent. We may use information we hold about you to provide information to you about other products and services which we offer or which we feel may be appropriate to you. Charges In addition to the premiums and charges made by insurers, we normally make the following charges to cover the administration of your insurance:
